What To Wear To Cheer Tumbling Class

Tumbling is a critical component of cheerleading and many students are eager to improve their skills in this area. We’ll start out by teaching basic tumbling safety rules and provide an evaluation for further placement.

Here are tips to roll out safe and effective cheerleading tumbling classes.

This class is for athletes who are working on their level 1 skills such as cartwheels, forward rolls, handstands, bridges and bridge kickovers. Tumbling and cheer dress code: White cheer shoes or tennis shoes (any color) with soft soles/low tread.

Students will be working on back handsprings, tucks, layouts, twisting, and jump to tumble combinations. All classes require a signed insurance waiver and fee. This class is 60 minutes *tumbling 3 (10 and up) based on skill level this is our most advanced level.

Hair should be pulled back and away from the face. Athletes will work on advanced series and progressions, including twisting tumbling. Students must have a strong cartwheel, round off, handstand, and fall to back bend.

Wear comfortable athletic clothing and silver sparkle hip hop shoes are required for class. General safety and health protocols We offer girls and boys competitive gymnastics, recreational gymnastics, tumbling, and cheer tumbling.

This class is perfect to begin preparing for junior high cheerleading. Shoes are optional for tumbling classes but are required for cheerleading. A perfect class for kids promoting from preschool classes/ hot shots to tumbling.

Please have hair pulled out of face at all times during class. Learn the basics such as forward and backward rolls, handstands, cartwheels, and bridges. If your student does not meet the prerequisites, they must enroll in gymnastics or take private lessons.

What does a tumbling class consist of? This class will teach chants, combinations, stunts and tumbling. This is an open cheer tumbling class.
